Vernacular Josmani Literature and the Yoga of Cosmic Awareness

Just as their spiritual awakening is not a process of alienation, but rather the harmony of cosmic forces, so too is their social understanding. The role of a Sant as detailed in this study is to tie together otherwise untidy factors in society. Their Yoga practice combines personal spiritual awakening with social harmony and thus confronts the individuality that rejects a wider social harmony.
