The Boat and the Helmsman

Exoterically, the boat is an orthodox religion. Esoterically, the boat is an intact and genuine initiatory organization; the helmsman being the spiritual master. In the second case the various parts of the boat are seen as ‘projections’ of the nature and faculties of the individual.
