Qur’an: Sura Ya-Sin

Part of the Matheson Trust Sacred Audio Collection

Sura Ya-Sin (chapter 36 of the Qur’an) was called by the Prophet the “Heart of the Qur’an”, and its recitation accompanies all significant occasions in the life of Muslims, from births to any troubled or joyful events through to funeral rites. It is often learnt by heart and is not seldom part of the awrad or litanies of Sufi turuq.
